An Authentically Catholic After School Experience
Wednesdays from 3PM - 4:30PM
We are blessed at St. Mary's to have a group of dedicated volunteers who come together almost every Wednesday of the school year to catechize our 2nd-5th grade students. Students who attend Huntingburg or Holland Elementary schools are bussed over to the Church directly after school to learn, sing, eat snacks, pray, and have fun! Frequently Asked Questions
Will my student be prepared for 1st Reconciliation / 1st Communion with the after school program?
While the after school program will teach about Reconciliation and Holy Communion, our formal preparation for First Reconciliation/Communion will take place on Sundays after the 10am Mass. Please see the "1st Holy Communion" page under the "Sacraments at St. Mary's" tab for more information!
How does the transportation from school work on Wednesdays?
We are blessed to have the area elementary schools bus our chlidren to St. Mary's every day there is religious education. Simply register your child for faith formation, and we will get them on the bus list!
