Home School Co-op

First Friday of Each Month

All families are welcome to join our homeschool co-op for 8AM Mass, a brief adoration, and an activity on the first Friday of each month! This ministry is particularly geared toward families who are homeschooling as it takes place during normal working hours. While the Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament act as the foundation of each session, these are followed by various activities that our children will experience together.

Adoration will start with 5 minutes of silent prayer, then liturgical prayer together, and will end with the group singing a liturgical hymn.

Ordinary time: Angelus & Holy God We Praise Thy Name

Lent: Angelus & Lord Who Throughout These 40 Days

Easter: Regina Caeli & Ye Sons and Daughters

Advent: Angelus & O Come O Come Emmanuel

Christmas: Angelus & O Come All Ye Faithful

In the colder months, as long as it is 40 degrees or above we will plan to meet, so bundle up!

Are you looking for a co-op that meets weekly and offers classes for your homeschooled children? Check out the John Paul the Great Home School Co-op at Divine Mercy Parish in St. Anthony, Indiana. They meet most Tuesdays throughout the school year after lunchtime. Inquire at the parish office for more information!
