Rev. Fr. Biju Thomas

Pastor

Fr. Biju Thomas is originally from India. He was ordained on May 3, 2000 in India, and came to the United States in 2014 to begin serving the Lord in the Diocese of Evansville, Indiana. He was assigned to St. Mary's of the Visitation in Huntingburg in June of 2020 as Parish Administrator, becoming our Pastor a year later in June of 2021. He prefers to be called Father Biju.


Rev. Fr. Juan Ramirez

Parochial Vicar

Fr. Juan is a native of Mexico. He emigrated to the United States in 2003, later discerning his vocation while at the Casa Jesus house of formation in Chicago. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2019 by Bp. Joseph Siegel, coming to St.  Mary's in June of 2026 from Our Lady of Hope Parish in Washington, Indiana. He currently serves part time at St. Mary's Parish in Huntingburg, and part time at St. Joseph's Parish in Jasper.


Shane Seniour

Parish Catechetical Leader

Shane Seniour serves as the Parish Catechetical Leader at St. Mary’s Parish. His desire to know Christ more deeply ultimately led him into the Catholic Church, where he was received in 2023. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Theology at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Shane and his wife, Ann, have been married for eight years and are the parents of four children. He is passionate about helping people discover the beauty and fullness of the Catholic faith so they may come to know Jesus Christ more deeply and follow Him more faithfully.


Kim Kendall

Evangelization Leader

Kim grew up in Mariah Hill, Indiana. She had a reversion to the faith in 1999 and joined St. Joseph in Jasper where she was active in the Religious Education Commission and many evangelization efforts. She joined St. Mary's in Huntingburg in 2012. Kim is married to Scott Kendall and they have two daughters.


Sharon Prior

Bookeeper

Sharon began her banking career in 1972 at the downtown bank, which at that time was a branch of First National Bank.

 Retiring in April of 2018, she has since enjoyed keeping up with her six grandchildren ranging in ages from 10 to 21. She brings her many years of experience in financial concerns to help our parish thrive.



Nick Wagner

Maintenance & Grounds

Nick Wagner joined the Staff in November of 2020. Nick has brought his extensive work experience and passion for serving the Lord to his position. A lifelong St. Mary's parishioner, Nick has served for the past 22 years as seventh grade catechist, including two years as tenth-grade catechist. 


Sister Mary Louise Uebelhor

Accompanist

Sr. Mary Louise joined our St. Mary's staff on April 1, 2011. Sister has served as a music minister and general music teacher for 47 years in various parishes throughout our diocese and the motherhouse at Ferdinand. The Benedictine sisters and priests at her "home parish," St Mary's and Stork Memorial Hospital played a key role in her becoming a Ferdinand Benedictine. As a pastoral musician, she is dedicated to inviting and encouraging others to share their gift of music as a means of praising God together.     


Angie McDonald

SECRETARY

Angie joined St. Mary’s in 2016 when she came into the Catholic Church after a lifetime spent in several different non-Catholic Christian faith communities. You’ll find her in the Parish Office Wednesday through Friday keeping everything running smoothly. From baptisms to funerals…Mass intentions to prayer requests…she’s here to help!

Angie and her family have called Huntingburg home since 1995 when they moved here from Orange County, California. She and her husband Mac are the parents of three grown children and nine grandchildren ranging in age from 0 to 12. A graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Angie loves nature, music, reading, and sharing the Catholic faith with anyone and everyone.
